GGG works the "real estate" in the ring very well. I think Canelo is skilled enough to bring out the best in him- better than any of his previous opponents have.

That might be true but Canelo is worst at chasing someone down and that does not suit his laid back style.

Golovkin's jab may be that awesome but he also hasn't fought anyone that is as good at boxing as Canelo, so while the jab will be/can be a useful weapon it is unlikely to be devastating because the range factor is not enough.

If Canelo isn't good enough sure that can go down but his style is fine for the fight. Canelo's style is that of a boxer if it is a boxing contest with a guy he can touch while getting touched it can work out if he is good enough.

I would also say Golovkin chilling on the back foot roaming around is going away from his strength. Canelo is a pretty skillful boxer, I think he has limitations in terms of his versatility but I think in this fight it is not something that would be going to Canelo's weakness.

It will be strength on strength which may suit Canelo or it may not, but that is a matter of how good he is not some stylistic flaw.
