only this is BS ... he is not making more money against Eubank than he is against GGG. The offer if at least 4 times his biggest ever purse.

You do realize if you say 'this post' in a post you are actually referring to 'this post' i.e. YOUR OWN post.

I always thought this fight belonged in the UK, London is a major media market and it would be in Golovkin's interest to fight there. Warren however is saying this needs to be a stadium show (the O2 should be more than big enough realistically), so April would be too early for that, they probably want late May at the earliest.

Ideally Golovkin would fight Tureano Johnson in early March, then go to the UK for Saunders in late May/early June and still be ready for Alvarez in September. I have doubts Alvarez will even fight Golovkin in September anyways.

Also, Saunders/Eubank was an undercard fight for Fury/Chisora II, and there was around 15,000 people for that. Saunders is not a major draw in the UK. They sold less than 7,000 for his first championship fight vs Lee. Warren though Lee/Saunders needed to a stadium show as well and they struggled to sell the tickets.

£2m is a good purse for Saunders and if he thinks he can win then take the £2m and win, then the money will start to roll in.

He knows deep down he has a very slim chance of winning, if any at all, so he wants compensation for losing his belt and taking a possible bad beating. Can't really blame him, it's business.

If he's that confident then what better business could there be than beating GGG right now + £2m? ...

he doesn't really believe what he's saying.

They should offer him no more than $3 mill.

If Suanders doesn't take it, wait until he gets beat and try again.

I'm confused. Is GG willing to make significantly less for this fight? People say GG made his first million dollars in the Lemieux fight, which was on PPV.

What exactly am I missing? What's the reasonable amount GG can make from this fight? If you say Saunders should be offered $3 million, does that mean GG would get $3.5 - 4 million?

I'm sorry. A GG fight is being mistaken for a Pac fight.

I like Saunders' defensive style. He's not reckless. I have a feeling he will have the WBO just as long as Quillin did, about 3 defenses innit, and without a loss.
