... who thinks that May held the 'fastest hand speed' is wrong. Floyd was fast with overall movement.

so a guy cant beat a fighter who is faster than him in hand speed?

Only a fool would think that. Another fool would also think that Loma didn't showcase his higher caliber speed that night against Gary Jr. There's a reason why he was reduced to volume arm punching. The positioning/timing/speed of Loma was too good, that night.... But yeah, Gary is faster 99/100 other nights, just not that night. It's all good.

maybe Loma did things in the fight to negate his speed, im not saying either one Is faster than the other I was just asking a question, nobody is a fool u just see it differently but okay.

Gamboa and Russel Jr. have the fastest hands when it comes to throwing combos. I think Rigondeaux has a very fast 1 punch counter.

speed and timing are two different things entirely

also, just because fighter A beat fighter B, doesnt mean fighter B doesnt do somethings or have some things better

Timing beats speed, but Gary Russell arguably has the fastest hands in boxing and definitely faster than Loma. Loma has better technique, balance and timin

On that night, Loma performed above Russell in all athletic measurements. But like I said, it was only one night. There are many other nights.

Lomachenko showed that timing beats speed in the Russell fight.

This is true but throwing single shots, it was Mayweather.
