Just wait ****ers. He's going to own the IBF/IBO belts after Byrd. And then simply walk through Sergei, Brewster in a rematch, Valuev, Rahman, Toney, Maskaev, Ruiz, Brock.

    Bookmark this post damn it.

ive been saying this all along but ive cut it out recently to save myself the trouble of being called a nuthugger and also realizing that im not gonna get any credit for being right.

Of all the guys you named only brewster stands a fighting chance of beating wlad, and as far as im concerned brewster has been exposed and with manny in his corner and the tape to work from wlad would have little trouble putting together a fight plan to easily beat brewster with.

all the ****in bitchin and whining about wlads chin and heart is a load of bull****. people who hate him should at least acknowledge the fact that he is the only guy in the heavyweight division who wants to unify the titles, he is the only guy willing to make the fights to unify the titles, he is the only guy who fights the best fighters. To me its funny that people cant realize that wlad is clearly more determined, committed and focused than every other heavyweight out there. you add that on top of the fact that his pure punching skills make the other guys look like amateurs... and you have a dominant fighter for the next 5 years. All these other guys are busy squabbling about a half million dollars meanwhile WLadamir Klitschko is the bank theyre afraid to rob.

Because then he would just sit on his titles recieving gift decisions over virtually everyone else.

At least Wlad's cool to watch because you're almost guranteed a damn knockout. Either he bites the dust, or he stifles someone with hard combinations.
That's it in a nutshell. Not only is Wlad the better fighter, I think, but he is more exciting than Byrd, by a factor of 10. Byrd has squatted on his belt for awhile now, and god help us if he somehow gets the win against Wlad. That's it for the IBF belt. Byrd will either retire (likely) or squat on it like a sitting hen, fighting nobodies and squeaking out ugly decisions. Byrd would totally rule out a rubber match, I'm sure.

Wlad winning the title will lead to unification bouts and other exciting matchups like his bout with Peter last year. Wlad has his flaws, but he's a big exciting puncher who isn't afraid to take on tough fights, that's for certain.

When a guy is fighting Owen Beck for his first title defense you know hes going to have hand picked opponents for a long time.

well, don king has the options on valuev for his next 3 or 4 fights, so we have to expect this kind of **** ya know. hopefully, dk will be totally out of the title picture in the next 2 years. that's hoping, fingers crossed.

I only like watching guys who have ****ing Cajones.

Brewster and Wlad have bigger ones than anyone in the division.

Well....I suppose we can add "Sergei" to that list. But I'm thinking about who's going to save the division.

And that's going to be the former heir apparent. Dark Horse.

Yeah, I agree. I think Peter, Brewster and Sergei are all tough, exciting fighters but they rely on their chins and get hit too much. One thing in the HW division, in order to have a meaningful unified reign for several years then you must have a good defense and fight within yourself, ala Lennox. Having a good chin is great, like Brewster, Peter and Sergei, but their fight styles rely on it too much. Even great chins get cracked at HW. The fighter with the skills, strength and style to actually unify and reign is, to me, Wladimir Klitschko.

Not because is chin is great or isn't great, but because it seems he's finally learned how to fight through adversity. To clinch when he's pressured and uncomfortable. To circle away and jab, to take breathers, etc. He's finally incorporated into his fight game what's in most American HW's fight plans from the amateurs onward. And when you add that to his natural size, power and skill then it just MIGHT add up to a unified champion, finally.

i agree rwk. both fighters seem to have balls and heart. the thing is brewster hasn't exactly been fighting top 5 comp much after w klitschko. meehan(who was ranked what, #50), krasniqi(who was actually ranked up in the top ten), and # 13 or 14 ranked liakhovich.

but i never heard brewster seriously mention fighting another champ. klitschko says he wants to start collecting belts(if he wins) in his next fight or two. and he's not the type of person to lie. so, we'll have to wait and see wich of the other 2 guys want to mix it up - 'cause we know rahman just wants to hold onto his piece of the title with a maskaev rematch and a toney rematch already lined up.

mech, i think those two losses suffered by klitschko helped him tremendously. he's been down and knows what it's like. now he just might be ready to be the fighter that we know he's capable of.

klitschkos "court room bull**** " was mandated by shady tricks by don er con king and his puppet organizations....the klitschkos are the only ones with balls enough to take king on.....then when the IBF mandates a peter vs wlad fight thinking that wlad would NO WAY take this fight....he does and whips peters ass.....come 4-23-06 you will have 3 euro heavyweight champs!

Plain and simple. It's a race thing.

                    That's correct.
                    I totally agree.

i think byrd will win and definitely hope he does. i really see nothing klitschko can do with him, i mean not including cheating like last time rubbing the **** on his gloves and then putting them in byrds face.

byrd will outbox him while standing right in front of him, make him miss and make him pay, he will stop him late in the fight and klitschko will probably quit from being frustrated from being hit so many times.
