Why are so many pure boxers or former boxers picking Byrd over Wlad?

I have not spoken to anyone who thinks Byrd will win. I'm leaning towards Wlad for obvious reasons. I will say that Byrd has a better shot this time. Wlads legs do funny things when he is hit on the chin. When they first fought, Wlad hadn't been ko'ed at that point. He wasn't as cuatious as he is now. If Byrd can land I feel he can hurt Wlad, even with his limited power.

Having said that, I still think Wlad will win..but it won't as lopsided as #1

it was first time he'd ever been past the 6th round and he was totally dominating purrity till he totally ran out of gas in the 10th round and his corner decided to stop it. it was like the brewster fight,,except more typical of an inexperienced fighter not pacing himself and running out of gas at the end when he couldnt quite put his opponent away. which makes the brewster fight even more bizarre as he was experienced by then and that happened in the 5th after he went the distance in several previous fights. it was hardly an ass beating by purity. but of course the haters see it that way,,lol

time will tell the true intent of these commentators / atheletes..
seeing how that perfomance went, if they still intend on picking Wlad's opponents blindly, then maybe we'll get a more clear indication of their reasoning, or lack thereof
