    155 weight division

Has anyone ever asked (or will they ever ask) why Canelo is so adamant on his 155 weight? If he wants to hold the middleweight title (160lbs), what is the reasoning for staying at 155?

He never requested to fight for the title, it was Cotto that wanted to defend the title against Canelo. He won the title and now he chooses his terms, he is not required to answer any ones questions or disagreements with his weight.

Golovkin could make the WBC strip him if he wanted, but he's happy taking step aside fees.

its shaping up to be one of the best divisions in boxing.

Got the #p4p Boxing star Canelolujah at the top

#1. Canelo - Fighter of the year, Boxing Top Draw, and Arguable P4P #1.
#2. Cotto - arguably the 2nd biggest boxing draw
#3. Lara - One of the top elite boxers in teh sport today some say most avoided
#4. Kirkland - p4p one of the most exciting and heaviest hitters in the sport today
#5. Angulo - Always exciting and beloved by boxing fans everywhere

Soon to enter the division GGG who is THEE most avoided fighter in the sport and is THEE p4p hardest puncher in the sport today, and Movie Star and Boxing Star Gabe Rosado who is always in exciting fights is who arguably should have W's over peter quillien, Love.

This division is one of the hottest in boxing and looks to keep on producing!

Cant wait to see what 155 holds for us in 2016

Fair enough...but what he should be required to do is defend the title at the full limit or vacate. He can weigh whatever the hell he wants.

Guys, if K2 and Sanchez are accepting compensation for postponing and agreeing to a nondisclosure, then who cares until the bout happens. GGG ain't complaining about it on "Twitter."

Canelo beat Cotto. He has the lineal. The WBC gets what they want and GGG. They are trying to sell more middleweight bouts for Canelo in order to sell more mega fights. If that doesn't fit the agenda for GGG lovers well then deal with it. The bout is inevitable and is going to happen. Kostzya vs Chavez Sr. happened too. Lol

                  Actually, 155 is considered Middleweight

Any weight from 154.5-160 is considered Middleweight, a middleweight is not required to fight at just 160

Exactly...so his opponent should be given the option to weigh 160.
