What kind of champion publicy acknowledges that he'd get smashed to bits by a rival fighter? Horrible attitude to have and a horrible champion for the MW division.

Yeah he was being truthful, doesn't mean it's not a cowardly approach to the whole situation.
Then all boxers are cowards GGG included, he just hide his one quite well, at least BJS came out and said it like it is.

      Worthless response with no substance.

Basically amounts to "He was being truthful so he doesn't deserve any criticsm". What a load of crap. Champions are now exempt from critque and facing the best of there division as long as they let everyone know they'll get smashed to bits by the other champion(s)?

Yeah, I missed the part where GGG was cowardly because he wouldn't fight someone in his own division.

Canelo should go ahead and pick up another title and officially become a Middleweight. This would be a easy fight for Canelo, Very Easy!

Well that statement was made prior to the Lee fight when thus cat was pretty much a prospect. Either way. Now that he's "arrived" in the division, doesn't he reserve the right to play the same risk/reward all other fighters do? Canelo and Cotto are the money guys. If given a choice, wouldn't GGG fight Nelo or Cotto over Saunders? Same difference homie.

Who said he doesn't deserve any criticism? Your post claiming he was a coward because he came out and claim he wouldn't fight GGG because he would lose makes him a coward? Isn't that what GGG did with ward? Again that makes every boxer GGG included a coward too... I guess because they didn't come and word it the same way BJS that makes them less of a coward..

You miss the part when the "coward"fought Ward..

I remember him saying that a year ago, and that was in response to the interviewer talking about Eubank Jr saying he would fight GGG now, BJS basically was like am not at that level yet, I would lose to GGG... He was just too truth for his own good, he would be like GGG "I would fight anyone" but not you.

                      That was brilliant.

I wouldn't mind Canelo - BJS fight, though. Let Ginger beat him at 160, take his title and then fight Golovkin for the undisputed MW crown in September.
