Anyone who follows the HW division knew who Luis Ortiz was. Jennings isn't anything special but use your eyes. Ortiz is clearly a very talented fighter with skills and power.

He's got skill no question but a lot of guys have skill.

There is absolutely no way he's getting any of those guys unless he is mandatory for them.

First Wilder is with PBC/Al Haymon until things get resolved there's no way they will be stepping in the ring against each other.

Fury/Klitschko are rematching so who knows when that happens.

So unfortunately those fights won't happen the first half of 2016, maybe the second half.

HBO/Golden Boy probably want Ortiz to fight 3 times next year.

He should be aiming for Stiverne, Pulev, Chagaev, and hope Glazkov beats Martin next month to fight him. Wild Card would be Andy Ruiz but I'm not sure Bob Arum would want to but there best Heavyweight in against King Kong.

He is mandatory for the WBA title lol.

Don't know if he will get either next but he should get the winner of Ruslan Chagaev vs Lucas Browne next at the very least

I like Ortiz, he has a great story with his Daughter situation. Hopefully he is clean and stays clean so that nobody can discredit his accomplishments

That's really the absolute best he can hope for right now. Though those two aren't enough to propel him to the top.

I feel like Wilder and Fury are going to say no all day, in all ways.

Well you aren't fighting Wilder. He only fights stiffs that aren't ranked. Loose 4 or 5 in a row then you can get that fight.

Not in a relative sense, but he IS still a heavyweight. You can't take his power lightly. Ortiz took enough solid shots last night to show me he has at least a decent chin.

He did so that's what I'm hoping for.

The Chagaev vs Browne winner could be something for him to aim for.

I'd love to see him fight Wlad, Fury, Povetkin, Wilder ect. As others have said though, they won't be in any rush to face him.

Good explanation? He tested positive for a steroid. What is there to say? People can make excuses all day long; but the bottom line is, Ortiz violated the rules. From a personal standpoint, it's my belief that many, perhaps most, professional athletes today use banned substances. Most don't get caught. It's not rocket science to avoid detection. So when a fighter tests positive once, I don't get all worked up about it. If he tests positive a second time, that's a different story.

Thats fair enough. And also, in his defense, Salido also tested positive for Nadrolone and immediately went to an authorized testing center and the test showed no trace of Nandrolone. High levels of Nadronlone can at times be created by the individual themselves during intense training and so if there is even a small chance that the body produces it at a high level, then that leaves the possibility that the fighter was not doping. Salido took a risk by paying out of his pocket for a second testing which proved to be negative, no traces above normal.

Ortiz is a ****ing beast, if he keeps juicing the way he is. I will have to admit he's #1 in the division. I don't see anyone going through him.
