Comments Thread For: Skoglund vs. Edward Early Fight Results From Sweden

Nykoping, Sweden - Norwegian light heavyweight Alexander Hagen (9-1) outscored George Kandelaki over four. Hagen walked into some counters but outworked his opponent for a win on scores of 40-36 twice and 40-37.

Light heavyweight Sven Fornling (9-0) again looked good and outscored Georgian journeyman Gari Abiyan (29-23-1) over four winning every round. This fight should have been over a longer distance but in Sweden 12 minutes is the max distance the commission have a general permission to allow. For longer distance they need special permission from the Martial Arts Delegation.

          Corley looked really poor today.

Both Yigit and Skoglund looked quite good today, even though it was easy to look good against that version of Chop Chop..

Corley needs to retire. Skoglund did what he had to do....he needs to step up in class now.
