I actually think Lee's length is gonna be an issue for Suanders, and I'm not sure the young'n can negate it without getting hit with that right cross. I see Lee either wearing him down or stunning him and then finishing him with a flurry for the TKO.

I'm going with Lee here and here's why.

I admit it is a close toss-up kind of fight but certain things stand out here. Lee has vastly more experience as Cliff Rold points out. That might not be a factor if he was edging into a post-prime stage of his career but I see no evidence of that yet. So Lee has experience and is still in a place that he can use it.

Secondly, I thought BJS was up a level when he thought Eubank. Eubank is an emotional fighter as we saw last weekend. He loses discipline, loses focus. When Saunders was in against Eubank I saw that as Eubank losing that fight rather than Saunders winning it due to Eubank not really engaging in the first 5 rounds. At this level Saunders has to nick rounds by staying elusive and being busier.

Thirdly, building on my second point, Lee has the engine and boxing ability to be just as busy as Saunders and also is another step up in ability from Eubank. ** For Saunders to be busier than Lee he will need to engage a lot more and when he does that he will be caught with heavy shots ... not all the time but enough that he will slow down considerably by mid stage. That, combined with his known lack of stamina (although he looks in great shape for this fight) will mean he ships more and more damage as the fight gets to round 8/9.

Lee by late stoppage in a fight that turns out to be more one sided than most expect.

Edit: ** At least the Eubank that was in with Saunders. Eubank is progressing nicely and has the potential to be a better fighter than either Lee or Saunders.

How Saunders ever been down or visibly hurt? 50/50 fight but Lee that bit more experienced and has the fight-changing power that BJS lacks. Could end up a bit like Lee-McEwan.

I see BJS as a high level boxer and he's been tested well in fights with Ryder, Eubank, and Blackwell. If Andy has one glaring weakness, it's that he can fall in love with his power. That's how he was getting badly outboxed by McEwan. But that was years ago and he's definitely wiser and better technically.

Vs McEwan, Andy gassed himself out trying to take Craig's head-off, but vs Korobov, Quillin and Jackson, he showed improved mental strength to slowly get himself back into those fights rather than panic and gas like with Craig. Problem is Bill is good & won't make mistakes for Andy. Bill won't try to impose his power on Andy like those other guys, he has quicker reflexes than Andy and smart enough to avoid traps. Don't expect Saunders to gas in this fight either, it'll be an uphill fight for Lee.

Lee has to back him up and have him on the ropes to win. He can't stay in the middle of the ring and try to box him. He simply can't outbox Saunders.

What is Saunders reach? Anyone know.. I haven't seen it listed anywhere
