    As George Groves embarks on another fighter/trainer relationship, this time with Shane McGuigan, the British super middleweight claims one of his previous coaches, Adam Booth, “abandoned him”.

    Groves was speaking at a press conference today (Thursday, December 17) in London to formally announce his January 30 fight against Andrea Di Luisa at the Copper Box Arena.

    Groves should have hired an American trainer. Roach, Abel Sanchez, and John David Jackson would all be a good fit for his style I think.

    Robert Garcia too.

      I think his current appointment he has is a good one, he can work under his old team-mate plus its close to home I don't know how good he'd be fighting away from home.

      Those guys mentioned are all good though, seems like he has swayed away from fighting like he use he use to for me atleast look like the SMW version of David Haye boxed well, could pick his shots but no idea what is happening now.

          Booth stopped training him ten weeks before the first Froch fight and there was a legal battle the week before the fight about managerial money that could've waited until after the fight.
