I take it as a sign they're serious. If they're going to duck Golovkin they're not going to make that duck as high profile as possible.

On a side note, it's pretty damn sad that Tyson Fury just dethroned the long reigning heavyweight champ and he doesn't even get the cover of Ring ****zine.

You have to read the "fine print". It has to do with the weight. Team Canelo will try to pressure and bully GGG to 155, and make it seem Golovkin's scared unless he goes there.

I think so too. But then it's Ring ****zine. Canelo will be a fixture unless something totally Earth-shattering happens.

Well I don't think GGG would ever go that far down anyway...I thought 157 would be a good compromise and GGG team shouldn't have any problem coming down if he really wants the fight.

If this is indeed true, then Canelo's next fight may well be at 160.
