Yea when you 34 gm and hadn't fought anyone of note! He has no big money fights and no big name fights! That's a problem! There are no real contenders at 160! He should do what he said and didn't anybody from 154 to 168! But real contenders called his bluff and now he just want to collect belts! So the question is shoes he wasn't to collect belts that collect dust or does he want to collect bodies that collect money that elevates him to a super star???

I am a big fan of both Canelo and GGG. They are my two favorite boxers in the world. I think the WBC should have done what they said they were going to do. They should tell Canelo to fight GGG next at 160 pounds or Canelo forfeits the WBC middleweight title belt. I like the fighters I like and don't jump from one fighter to the next for some reason. I decide if I like a boxer or not based on that boxer only. There is nothing fake about it, I have always been a fan of Pacquiao, Kovalev, GGG and Canelo because I like the way they fight and the way they act outside of the ring as well. They aren't perfect but I like them and they have no connection with each other. I don't like Ronda. You can hate on GGG and Kovalev and their fans all you want. I'll let you in on a secret. They are both world champions who fight the best fighters who dare fight them and they always win by KO. That's about as good as it gets. Keep waiting and hoping Kovalev and GGG get beat because you will have a long wait.

Who on GGG resume is accomplished more than Berto? I'll wait!!! GGG is 34yrs old and doesn't have 1 accomplished fighter on his resume! Don't even mention him in the same breath with FLOYD or PAC! at age 34 they were both fighting at higher weight classes and fighting bigger men. It's already to late for him to accomplish anything close to what they have!

What's Berto accomplished? 2 paper belts, a few wins over fringe contenders. Ffs Geale was unified, held 2 belts at the same time and beat Sturm, which beats Bertos best win

Are you talking about Ward? who called his bluff, the guy who moved to 175 ? or are you talking about Lara? the guy who never even attempted to negotiate with GGG and hasn't once fought at 160, or are you talking about Canelo... the guy who wants to fight at Canelo weight? NSB bul**** is all the same, everyone has their favorite fighters they give a pass to fighter A for doing something and don't give it to fighter B, they remember when fighter B said something but completely forget what fighter A said. I agree GGG is getting up there in age, and it sucks that most of his career was wasted with sutherland who didn't have GGGs interest in mind. However GGG only jumped on the scene recently (like 2-3 years ago). if you asked anyone who GGG was in 2010 then very few people would even know.

GGG built his name from nothing in 3 years. The same amount of time that Ward ruined his with his inactivity, injuries/court battles. Aside from Ward's offer (which i dont believe was genuine if you look at the series of events) i don't know who you are talking about calling GGGs bluff.

Yeah I understand that but the belt dont mean anything on face value its who holds it that decides its real worth .

GGG hasnt fought a single elite fighter , the only competitive fights are the ones I mentioned and he wont fight 2 of them , I like GGG there is not much to dislike about him other than some of his ex Manny fans protecting him from any real fight at all costs , Andy Lee is a chin first joke when talking this level you and got people calling GGG Hagler and then they want Andy Lee lol .
