Comments Thread For: Video: Anthony Joshua Warns Wilder, Open To Whyte II

Anthony Joshua produced a stunning seventh-round knockout of Dillian Whyte as he overcame his toughest challenge yet to seize the vacant British heavyweight title at The O2.

Joshua, who also retained his Commonwealth crown, ended a bad-tempered clash after one minute and 27 seconds, initially staggering his bitter rival with a straight right before finishing him off with a ferocious right uppercut.

Well i don't see the point in a rematch.

Whyte is decent enough to show Joshua has some big flaws but not quite good enough to capitalise on them himself.

Biscuit chins? is that what we are calling young, hungry, undefeated, KO specialist prospects these days? If that didn't entertain you there are other sports...

Joshua would win the rematch really easily..

I'd say fight Chisora to win Lonsdale outright, then move to a fight against a high ranked WBC opponent and bash up Wilder

Joshua is gonna bite off more than he can chew

If Jennings defeats Ortiz, someone needs to make Joshua-Jennings

Whyte II? I don't really see the point in that. Whyte gave a good account of himself, but not to the level of a rematch imo.

That offer by Joshua is very generous...I wouldn't count Whyte out in a rematch because he learns well, its the foundation of how he got where he is. If Whyte works on his cardio and as another poster said works on his punching techniques a bit with Banks he could be a lot better. Also Whyte needs to work on head movement but does have pretty fair mobility.
