I won't deny that Wilder is a threat. His wild style and crazy punching power makes him dangerous to anyone. But so long as Fury doesn't wet the bed against him I see this being a very humiliating Lacy-esque beatdown.

I think it could also be that kind of beatdown but it's still super exciting because Wider is dangerous even if he's getting whupped on imo, he has fight changing power and heart.

I would like to see Wilder rise to the occasion and push Fury into another level but as long as Fury wins I will be happy that night.

Wilder certainly presents a different set of challenges to Fury, but following the Szpilka fight I'm even more confident that Fury would do a number on him. Wilder is just too crude and easily drawn into his opponent's gameplan for a fighter of Fury's calibre to fall to him. Remember that scene in the Szpilka fight where Szpika baits Wilder into throwing not one but two of the wildest, most amateurish haymakers ever seen? That's going to be the Fury fight in a nutshell, with Wilder either taking a nap on the canvas or retiring on his stool after tearing yet another muscle from hitting air all night.
