Just fight for the 160 title. Floyd wont do it as he wants his zero. You haven't got a zero and theres no disgrace in losing to GGG. GGG wants to protect his own zero for the time being as well I guess so Ward will come later and be the cherry on top of the cake. But GGG don't need that right now.
Floyd didn't let JMM have warm up fights before fighting him, and JMM didn't think he needed them. So if canelo doesn't think hes up to the job don't take the fight then. Not everyone is as brave as JMM.
The JMM fight is a perfect example of one guy fighting at a division that he wasn't ready for, stepping in with the "relatively" big dogs. Though, I think Canelo is a better size for middleweight, than Marquez was for 147, but he isn't quite there yet. Needs to test the waters, before fighting the best 160 pounder out there.

i say downgrade wbc to minor title and upgrade IBO to major. IBO is the least corrupt of all. plus wlad and GGG both represent the IBO titles very well. it's a very good belt.

I think the best thing to do for his own career is to move to 160, Nevermind trying to gain an advantage on golovkin.

Find me other middleweights fighting at the highest level of the division, who can make 155. When have you seen any other champions at 160 come in at 155, just for kicks and giggles.
Come on dude, are you a boxing fan or a dieting fan?

He's just rather unskilled and needs weight games to win. He is the next Chavez Jr and will be exposed again and again.
I guess Canelo's career is basically over. The 155 pound division isn't stacked at all, he can't make 154 and he's too scared to fight guys his size. Retirement time? Flat footed bum.
