The last we saw of Mike Alvarado was on the night of January 24th when he was beaten down in three rounds by Brandon Rios. It was an ignominious defeat that saw Alvarado get booed lustily afterwards by his hometown crowd at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

At the beginning of the year, just a few weeks before this rubber match with Rios, he was picked up on a weapons charge in what far from his first brush with the law.

This guys drug addiction really got the best of him, I wish him the best. Saw him on some interview he did with a local denver station apologizing for his recent behavior and issues, he said he got married and all that so for the sake of his family I hope he got his shhh together but comeback not so sure. At this point he's going to be a name on resumes.
