Khan would earn more fighting Brook than he would anyone barring Mayweather or Pac (and even thats debatable given how badly Khan would get ****d at the negotiating table). Mayweather is retired, and Pac will most likely fight someone else given that he is with Top Rank and Khan is with Haymon.

You can chat about Brooks resume all you want, and I agree it isnt great, but he is the biggest realistic fight that Amir Khan can get. He would get a very favorable split because, like you say, Khan is the bigger draw. He would also get a title which he can use to bargain in subsequent fights.

Why give Brook a payday? He hasn't earned it. Jnr Witter was a similar fight for Hatton & Hatton earned very well without him & it never harmed Hatton's career.

Khan vs PAC is huge, khan vs Bradley, Khan vs Garcia are massive. Khan vs Porter or Peterson are big fights. Khan vs Thurman is a big fight. Why give Brook a payday when Khan could earn millions with fighters who are equally big fights & fighters who have earned it.

Because Garcia, Bradley and Thurman dont get Khan PPV money. Khan was offered what a £5,000,000 guarantee and likely a very favourable split of PPV profits to fight Brook. He doesnt make that money vs anyone else. Hell he probably doesnt earn that much more than that fighting Mayweather (Maidana in the second fight where he had much more leverage in negotiations only earned a $5mill (£3.5mill approx?) guarantee vs Floyd).

Bradley is another one who is with Top Rank btw.

And since when has Thurman 'earned it' any more than Brook? His best wins are Jesus Soto Karass and Robert Guerrero
