    He just can't bring himself into admitting he was never interested in GG in the first place. Only reason why he thought about it was because moving up meant facing Kovalev, which is a more terrifying prospect. He had a hard time making up his mind. Now he had to make it appear he's really intending to fight Kovalev. There's no escape.

        Kovalev > Golovkin, in every department

        Golovkin will beat Hopkins record without even facing 1 world-class fighter.

        And Ward will eclipse Golovkin's entire career in 1 fight if he beats Kovalev.

        Ward > Kovalev > lots of other fighters > Golovkin

              There are many active world-class fighters who have much better resume's than Gennady Golovkin..... Ward and Kovalev are just two of them.

                aboutfkntime, you've already mentioned Ward and Kovalev, and yes, there are fighters with better resumes, but which ones do you think are better than Golovkin? i.e. would be favored to win should a matchup be made.
