Cotto, like many of us fans, believed he was robbed. It was a close fight, and the scorecards didn't even come close to reflecting it. I understand that Canelo's fans are happy Cotto lost, but, as boxing fans, we should at least be outraged about the judging. That fight looks like it was decided before it even took place. A draw, or a slight Cotto or Canelo victory would've been acceptable. What they did was not. How can you be a fan of boxing, when its best fights are decided like this? It proves nothing.

I'm guessing he's just a sore loser because it's happened a lot.
Then again, i usually say "show me a good loser and i'll show you a loser" - but when people have paid out of their own pockets to come and support you, at least have the decency to do a brief interview and thank them for supporting you and the fight. They're the ones putting money in your pockets.

I don't think Cotto intended to ignore the fans; it's more like that he didn't want HBO to profit off of him. Kellerman would've acted like Cotto lost. If Cotto accedes to the interview, it's a way for HBO to cement that loss in the fans' heads, just like their commentating bias did throughout the fight. He's too smart to get caught up in that. Cotto was sending a message to HBO and his fans, saying, "No matter what these people did with the judges, I know I didn't lose." That's how I see it. It's more of an HBO snub, in my eyes. He knew what was happening.
