Yes difference is Floyd actually fought better competition. When Floyd had cans in front of him, as Rigo did last night, Floyd put punches together and put them away.

cotto vs canelo is one of those once in a blue moon event. So maybe rigo will get his chance again to prove that he's worth the damnn hard earned money of the fans when he is 45 years old. =/

From this point forward Rigo is only interesting if he's in there with another big name guy. Why would anybody want to watch a performance like last night against somebody who was a complete no-name

So next fight? Not on a PPV card while the world is watching? Even us as your fans were dissappointed, 7 punch rounds? You can't do that, what is his corner telling him?

Rigo is so good he keeps fooling networks and promoters to give him "one more chance".

Arum finally realized it didn't matter, rigo doesn't care about fans, and wasn't going to change. Roach told him the first day he trained him he had to become more offensive or Networks wouldn't want to deal with him.

He doesn't care. These fighters don't realize, that Floyd is Only "boring" fighter that can do that and sell. But Floyd put his work in early in his career, and marketed himself masterfully.

No one else will be able to do that for a long time, these black fighters who are boring (it's not racist, it's true), and think they can cherry pick, the way Floyd did, they don't realize, that won't work for any of them.

fine. don't do it on my TV

we wtach boxing to be entertained. if you want to see who is better at something regardless of the physical drama, watch chess, fenching, etc. boxing is compelling because of things other than guys "not getting hit."

mayweather was also a much more entertaining fighter. he had boring rounds and stretches, but he'd also shoot some of the best looking counterpunches you'll ever see. he'd manufacture the big counters, and look spectacular while he did it. the layman "gets" a pullcounter. it's plain to see how masterful it is. it's aesthetic. it looks good.

rigondeaux just paws the jab and hopes for mistatakes. it does not look good.
