          Awkward... The man needs to take a step back from the limelight for a while. Keep doing whatever he does behind the scenes for his company, but let Hopkins handle the media stuff.

            i hate to keep saying it but oscar is a complete joke. now hes going to try and play the be a bigger man role. i mean seriously is there any boxing fan left that takes this guy seriously in anyway?

                  I agree. Oscar needs to step away maybe in general for the rest of the year. He already has his matchups and cards set for the rest of the year. Let Bernard Hopkins, Eric Gomez, and Robert Diaz run the operation. He needs some time off.

                  Not trying to knock him but this is probably the most active he has been with his promotion for a entire year running the day to day operation.

                  He might be a little burnt out. He needs to spend time with his family and rest his mind if possible.
