krikya360.com recently reported that Saul "Canelo" Alvarez successfully passed the WBC's mandatory 7-day weigh-in. Under the supervision of a WBC representative, Canelo weighed in at 160.2 pounds. Canelo weighed in at 167.8 pounds at the WBC's 30-day weigh-in.

Meanwhile, Canelo drained himself just for the 7 day weigh in lol. So I heard.. Some buddies of mine with connections inside Canelo's camp told me they actually had Canelo stop taking water the day before and eat one apple to try and stop the GGG talks. Supposedly, he is actually back at 163.7 according to my friend per 5PM EST today.

Cotto should fight at 154. He could continue to win for a few more years in that division.

I think that he will weigh 153-154, same as last time.

The catchweight for Geale was 157, and Cotto weighed 153..... meaning that Cotto's optimum weight is almost certainly 153-154.

Canelo will make 155 no problem.

On planet real, the winner of this fight should face Lara to decide who is the best JMW on the planet.

Cotto is a 154 fighter in reality. The only reason i sometimes get on his back about fighting GGG is because he has a MW title and i like to see champs fighting champs, that's what sport is about. If he doesn't have that title and if that fight never happens then it's cool with me. Canelo on the other hand i don't believe can make 154 anywhere near as comfortable as Cotto, if at all without being a zombie.

If you're looking as weight difference as a reason not to fighting GGG, i think Cotto has a much more legitimate reason than Canelo. And i consider myself more of a Canelo fan.

But as long as Canelo or Cotto has that MW belt, people have the right to be calling for the GGG fight.
