Earlier in the year....which means 2016 so no the Lemiuex fight would not have counted as part of it as you originally suggested.

At the time Ward had no intention of fighting again in 2015, so of course HIS interim fight would have taken place in 2016. They only tried to put him on the Cotto card after their absurd offer went nowhere.

What part of "one fight" is so mystifying to you?
