    Told you HBO booted him off the PPV because he refused to agree to fight kov. They were trying to get him to admit it live.

    He isn't going to fight any type of perceived threat before he retires next year.

        How about Pascal and then Kovalev?? Or Gonzalez?? I hope the plan isn't to just fight 2 bums and then Kovalev. That's not even building up a fight the right way. With this news I'm basically not even looking forward to anything that has to do with Ward for about another year +.

          This is good news.

          Ward won't be pushed into that fight early.

          Hopefully after 2 more fights to adjust to LHW we get Kovalev.

              IS what, trying to land a fight with the best MW on the planet. Canelo is gonna be MW champ, lineal, but yea, GGG is ducking tough fights.

              But Ward, he wont even commit to fighting a live body.

                  "What's the rush" Andre Wards statement on fighting Kovalev. He should have just said "Hey Kovalev is in his zeinth of his prime and I'm starting to hit the down slope of my career so let's wait a little so Kovalev can get a few more wars in and let his prime wear off a little before I fight him".

                  Come on Ward be the warrior I know you are and fight this beast in 2016. I know you have it in you to beat him.

                    I'm sure they will fight in 2016, early 2017 at the latest.

                    That is what HBO and ME have continually stated.

                    But even though Ward's fight with Brand fell over, he will still want those 2 tuneups I'm sure..... he's not gonna be pushed into doing anything..... just like Kovalev with the Stevenson situation.

                    It's all good, and still right on track according to Duva.

                      Replace Kovalev's name in everything he just said, and put GGG in it.

                      This point of view didn't apply to GGG though did it. This is how you can see when someone is afraid.
