Also I think if ward somehow wins, he retires. If he loses, he has a frewell fight and calls it a day.

I think Ward has been unmotivated since the Super 6, maybe after dawson. He never Knocks people down anymore or TKO's them. Content to win by UD, Seem like a paay day chaser which is fine.

I can agree he doesn't have the drawing power he thinks he does and isn't the superstar he thinks he is. I know he has superstar talent but he just doesn't have the drawing power.

It's fine though. Hopkins had a great and prosperous career and he wasn't he most action packed fighter. He'll retire rich. However I don't think you can question his thirst to fight the best when he took over super middleweight within 2 years after the super 6 started. His problem is just wanting to become Mayweather so bad without just letting it happen on it's own and just fighting. His long stints off really hurt what could of been an amazing resume by now but it's still really good and he can still do a lot more before he's done.

This is part of the reason its a great fight. Kessler looked completely lost with some of the stuff Ward was doing, like he'd never seen it. Kovalev is so gritty and has a bad temper, no idea how Wards typical bullying will work out for him. LOVE THIS FIGHT
