GGG asked for the Ward fight in 2014 and Ward told him no twice.

Now it's 2015 and GGG suppose to just drop everything for Ward who still won't be ready to fight until 2016.

Sorry but Crawford is wrong on this one and is obviously bias. No one knows who will win the fight. Ward has fought a bunch of B level fighters and GGG would be the best fighter he has fought to date. Same goes for GGG.

You have guys giving Ward passes just because they hate GGG's and know he won't be losing anytime soon.

Crawford has at least proven himself against a top level fighter like Gamboa. Something GGG has yet to do.

Gamboa was not a top fighter at LW, where he's a midget. His whole resume above 126 is UD (while getting KDed hard) vs fringe Farenas, and a hard-fought Dec vs Perez, who's not even top 10 LW

First, no, Ward/GGG would not get more PPV buys. I've said that several weeks ago and stand by my statements. Ward's popularity on regular HBO in 2012/2013 was lower than Golovkin's in 2015. Ward's fight with Paul Smith garnered 350k viewers on BET. So no, Ward/GGG would not have gotten more PPV buys than GGG/Lemieux, which had belts on the line, unification theme, and got some Canadian fans.

Second, no matter how much you want to quote your 97k or even 50k, the official numbers from the network were 150k. You want to use unconfirmed numbers from a questionable (at best) source? Go right ahead. Just more uninformed drivel from Ward fans. Don't forget your 'lil g' and the '154 168 doe' cards on your way out of the argument.

Gamboa is an excellent fighter full stop. You can play the silly weight game if you want. It would be the equivalent of Golovkin actually getting into the ring with Lara.

Plus he makes way more money for beating up those two , than he would fighting Ward who has beaten nobody in the last two to 3 years .
