Despite those guys being a great opportunity for exposure ?

CW are for fighters that are not within 10 pounds of each other. Not for title fights between two guys that rehydrate to similar weights.

It's refreshing Team GGG is standing up to this BS. They good bend to the money, but he is doing boxing a favor by standing up to this bs.

GGG versus Canelo would be big fight, but Canelo doesn't want it.

Canelo vs. GGG is a mega fight with tons of fan interest. If Canelo refuses because he tries to run this I'm not a MW story, the media kills him. They know better, everyone knows better.

Canelo won the WBC/RING middleweight titles only to vacate then to not face GGG, he gets raked over hot coals by American media. Very few buy this I'm not a MW ****.

It will be even worse if he does it only to fight another MW.

Canelo weighs more than GGG before/during mist his fights. He is making 155 pounds now because he is 25 years old, but soon he won't be able to do it.

He gasses out when he does as it is. 21 pounds is a lot. And it may be that the 20 he takes off for Cotto is too much.

Canelo is already an underdog to GGG. No matter who he fights from 154-160 he will be favored to win.

The only guy who he might not be is a LHW (who is trying to drag mediocre SMW up to LHW to make himself look good). Lol!

I'm sure Sanchez got the ok to say these things. They have a PR team that likily goes over this. Most of these guys do in some form.

They've been too consistent for it to be just Sanchez.

If they take this 155, and Canelo won. The so called I'm not a MW would get three MW belts while never fighting someone who was allowed to fight at MW 160.

Why should Canelo get a shot at owning 3 MW belts without allowing his opponents to fight at MW 160?

It's not that GGG doesn't want the fight, I'm sure they are hope Canelo will fight.

But no way does Cotto or Canelo deserve a shot at unifying the MW division while gaming the system.
