why was he trying to fight bums the last 4 years? you can't blame it on ggg all that time. there were plenty of good fighters at 168 and ward didn't want them but because ggg didn't want to move up ward's ducking is excused? how does that work? if ward wouldn't fight bute i don't see him fighting kovalev. it seems likely that ward is just humoring the fans and duva in order to get more easy paydays.

Ward has to take on someone more than just a no-hoper. And he SHOULD be looking for tougher challenges, if he's to fight Kov next year.

This isn't some young fighter on his way up still trying to make a name for himself. Dude is a vet and a top pfp fighter.

One that doesn't sell and that isnt the most exciting. This tuneup stuff is a waste of everyones time.
        Well welcome to reality, bro.
Ward was never going to fight anybody good until he gets these tune ups out of the way.
That's just the way it is.
They better get a move on. Less than 1 month left to find an opponent for the co-feature of this PPV

it accomplishes getting 2 million dollars in ward's pockets. the same exact thing he's been trying to do the last 4 years. easy fights for big money. the tough fights were all avoided and now we are supposed to believe ward's promise of figthing kovalev? sorry im not that gullible. you can't give this guy any hand outs. make him fight kovalev or he's not on hbo.

Why do Golovkin lovers pull out this "4 years" figure and act like people aren't aware of the issues Ward has had over that time period? I mean....do they really think people are that ******?

I suppose when your gullible enough to sell your arsholes to a guy whose best wins are Martin Murray and David Lemiuex, then you think others are just as easily hoodwinked.

It's amazing how the bar is set so high for American fighters but is set so low for the Eastern Euro fighters. It's almost like they want to see the American fighters fail and the Eastern Euro fighters to succeed. One can trace this all the way back to HBO and now the NSAC.

is pascal/kov 2 official? If not ward should call pascals team, thats a good test at LHW.

i dont agree with the two tune ups. it should just be one and then kovalev.

he needs somebody that can test his chin, because kovalev is the ultimate chin checker.
