Damn, when you know you're this good if every opponent is a mismatch and has to be prevented by NSAC.

While I agree with the NSAC's decision, it's weird that they decided to take a stand on this fight when they've approved a dozen worse mismatches this year.

Ward Too good for Golovkin, mismatch
You're a idiot. Ggg right now would be Wards career best opponent

He was ranked #6 by the wbo at 168. The fight would be at 175,a weight the 23 year old kid had never fought at. Don't try to twist this, and make it look like it wasn't going to be a complete mismatch.

I don't think so. Ggg wasn't nowhere near p4p, and both of those guys had challenged for titles at MW and went the distance and won some rounds.

5 of Rupert's 19 fights have taken place above the SMW limit. 2 of those 5 have taken place above the LHW limit.

It was a pointless fight. I only wish they'd take a stand like this more often.

ward fans defending ward and his choice of opponents. no surprise. the biggest hypocrites ever. talk sh-it about ggg because no one would fight him but defend ward who tries to fight bums as his first option. 4 years running now and they still defending this clown. he can do no wrong.
