... I'm disappointed: a Ward victory against the big star Rohan would have had cemented his #2 P4P status.

He obviously wants to fight at 175. So his next opponent should be someone who is campaigning at that weight. I don't see how they are going to get a replacement when the show is in 4 weeks. He may be off the card altogether. And this card wasn't looking good to begin with.

"That's why i find it laughable that he's in some p4p lists near the top. You can't go on former glories or a guys talent alone when he hasn't done a thing in years, especially when there's no way of knowing if he's still the fighter he was."

Other sources I cannot link to have confirmed the Nevada Commission has indeed said "no".

I trust you -- as long as team Ward never made a public official statement on anything yet... Do we know where he is really heading to? No, we don't... So?...

It will be interesting to see who they can get on short notice.

They should go for a light heavyweight journeyman or fringe contender like Murat.

Shabranskyy is currently planned for Friday Nov 20 at the Hard Rock in Vegas, Golden Boy could move him to the PPV against Ward.

I think he'd give Ward a tough fight - he's a bit chinny, but Ward is feather-fisted - otherwise Shabranskyy is a very good boxer.

                  ouch

good, this is why Ward should be nowhere near the p4p list until he shows he can fight again

Come to think of it, it is a good question. He ALREADY had a tune up. Why another one and arguably a worst mismatch?

Ward fans, what's up with Ward. Two tune ups? Why is he fighting this dude. He could get a more competitive winnable fight.

Not mad at this at all. I think he needs to forgo being on this card and focus on what's next.

Why not just fight a 175lb'er?
