    Comments Thread For: Photo: Canelo Tips in at 167.8 at WBC's 30-Day Weighin

    Saul "Canelo" Alvarez successfully passed the WBC's mandatory 30-day weigh-in. Under the supervision of WBC representative Rudy Tellez, Canelo weighed in at 167.8 pounds.

    To date, Canelo has sparred a total of 128 rounds.

    On November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Canelo will challenge Miguel Cotto for the WBC middleweight championship, with HBO Pay-Per-View carrying the bout. The fight is taking place at catch-weight of 155-pounds.

        Cotto weight should be interesting. He was 160.2 for Martinez at the 30 day.
