legitimate question, not hating, but:

If Floyd won WBC titles in 5 divisions (130, 135, 140, 147, 154), then why are there 16 WBC belts on the table?

Even factoring in a few WBC diamond, or emerald, or whatever other stuff Suiliman made up, what are the other WBC belts from?

what i can account for is..

He won 5 wbc's in 5 divisions=5

won the wbc 2 times at 147=6

won it 2 times at 154=7

2 diamond wbc titles=9

got a new wbc title at 130 to replace the old design=10



so that explains 10 of them

The reason for all of the WBC belts is because he won numerous Diamond, "24K WORLD", Emerald, etc championships in addition to being given new WBC belts each time the WBC updated their design.

Mayweather is their most decorated champion in history and the biggest proponent and endorser of the WBC of any fighter in history.

So any time he fought, the WBC made sure their newest and nicest design was being shown in the ring.

the "new design" explanation makes sense. Because normally when someone defends their title, they are not given a new belt each time.
