Pretty sure Ward doesn't wanna go at Kovalev right away. Would have like to see Ward fight forebode good though at 175. Pascal or even Gonzalez.

HBO wanted him to fight Gonzalez on this undercard, but Ward wanted a much softer touch.

Because Ward is a god gifted masterpiece and deserves to do whatever he wants in boxing. If he wants 3 tuneups, he can have 3 tuneups. But GGG doesn't need 3, he must fight at 168 against the best right away

No but really, he wants 3 tuneups because he wants to be almost certain that he's right for 175 before going in the ring with Killa Kov.

Let's just pray Ward picks Beterbiev or Pascal before he fights Kovalev, it's much more to be ashamed of to lose to those two

Ward wants to get paid (handsomely i may add) for fighting bums. Rodriguez, Paul "maul blart", and now 3 more bums before you can get him in the ring with Kovalev. And ppl want to call him #1 p4p.
Why are Ward's detractors so concerned with the money he makes? Every fight is a risk for obvious reasons so more power to anyone that maximizes their earning potential every time they step into the ring.

Funny how I never see anyone criticize promoters for the amount of money they make.....

Nobody cares about promoters. Boxers are the ones with the fans that ppl pay money to see. Not promoters. And you're basically ok with Ward just fighting bums for 1-2 million dollars while guys like Kovalev, pascal and even Gonzalez can't get him yet.

Stop lying already. Ward wants 2 fights and the third one is Kovalev.
