What's scary in retrospect is that we know Fonfara can punch, he has good power. Cleverly never really looked hurt or in danger of going down, yet he couldn't make it conscious out of the 3rd round against Kovalev.

HOW ****ING HARD DOES KOVALEV FREAKING HIT? It's insane.

yea he did lose to rubio and since then he became a champ. did cleverly become a champ lately? no. terrible false equivalencies. what do you expect from dirk.

I thought that too. Fonfara isn't the biggest of punchers but he caught him clean. Especially with a few uppercuts.

        Kov is one scary s.o.b

Boxing needs it's minor league as much as any other sport. PBC is like what Bellator is to UFC, not the big league but it can still provide solid entertainment at times and some decent fights. I am as far from a PBC fan as you will find around here but I call em the way i see em and tonight was a decent night of boxing by any standard.

Don't take this the wrong way but you're a ****ing idiot.

Really good fight. Fonfara has likely earned a shot at Stevenson again. I wouldn't mind seeing that fight.

Do you want me to go through GGGs resume of zero champions?

In fact this is the first reigning "champion" he's faced

You're all about champions now! Willie Munroe Jr was Boxcino champion I suppose!

                Go have a valium

thank you for being honest and admitting it's the minor leagues.

Exactly barcham.. pbc on spike could be the minor leagues.. or a step up into the majors. just like bellator on spike seems to be. This wasn't on primetime nbc. It wasn't on CBS or even Sho.. It was Spike.. Certainly not the biggest platform available. Yet we got some good scraps. No bad decisions and the potential for all four guys to step it up next go round. They all gave fans a great showing tonight.
