    Postol-Matthysse here comes clinch ruining boxing again

    Everytime Matthysse gets inside he gets clinched... very nice, this is the future of boxing?

    Then they'll say Postol is a master of the sweet science right?

      At least he opened up at some point and didnt try to clinch. I dont get why all ref does like the red did tonight. Give him the warnings and if it keeps going, take away points. Alot of boxers use it but when ur a super star u get away with it.

        Who cares, does Matthysse even know how to operate on the inside? The answer is no, so who cares. Ones' inside game should never be rendered useless by clinching, if Matthysse wasn't so busy trying to rabbit punch or loading up every goddamn punch, he could have properly positioned himself on the inside and landed meaningful punches.

        That said, with his limitations he gave it his all. Much respect to Matthysse and hopefully he's ok.

          The fight ended in a KO, so what the fk do you want? You guys wouldn't be happy unless Matthysse won, that's all there is to it. If Matthysse clinched you'd go ape sht about the rabbit punches but since Lucas threw them, it didn't happen.

              He got the stoppage though

              Imo the clinch is only a crime if that's your whole game plan, clinch then lovetap for points

              If you're using it to control the other guy and knock him out... Well that definitely changes the argument

              The goal of a fight=stopping the other guy before the judges can **** it up
