Ward better fight Kovalev because im losing respect for this guy why is he saying stuff like ill fight Floyd at 160, and calls out GGG to come up to his weight? yet wont meet him half way at 164, but would go to 160 for Floyd, also he could have beat Chad Dawson at 175 for chads belt instead of letting chad go all the way down to 168 to drain himself, that was a meaningless fight, the only purpose of fighting ward would be to capture his strap why defend against him at your weight?

See the point?
Ward/Hunter never said he can beat anyone from Middleweigt to Cruiserweight. GGG and his team said that about him, Ward responded. After Ward's response, a lot of **** was talked by GGG's team and Ward wanted to set it straight in the ring. GGG and his team didn't want to, they back off fro mtheir claim. Now Ward has them in the submissive position after they barked, Ward barked back and they got scared from Ward's bark. That's what happened here.

It was the really the only choice available on the table. At this point it's obvious that GGG's team is going to keep him at 160 at least for another year. Probably even longer. There's no point in waiting for him. But also he doesn't have a lot of options at 168 anyway. The only guys he could possibly fight would include Porky Medina and Fedor Chudinov, two fights that HBO would never pick up. So he was basically forced to move up.
It could end up turning out great for him though cause there's a lot of options at LHW. Gonzalez, there's Pascal, some of Duva's fighters as well.
I'm going to assume that one of those 3 fights is going to include Kovalev, probably next year. If that's the case, then we can forget about Stevenson vs. Kovalev happening anytime soon.
Kovalev vs. Ward would be a massive fight, a 50/50 fight. A fight to determine the no.1 P4P fighter.

I wanted Golovkin to be the one who takes Wards 0, not Kovalev though...
It still can happen if Golovkin finishes his business at MW, moves up become the man at SMW while Ward somehow manages to beat Kovalev..
It's a very unlikely scenario but still, one can hope.

Golovtards are the dumbest, most repugnant boxing fans in the entire world.
