Ward will have to Wait. In the meantime he can fight DeGale or Kovalev. No more tuneups for this guy. Time for him to fight a guy with a pulse.

And to top it off he's staring at a Cotto or Canelo fight...

Some people have zero common sense and just post ******ity so they can read their own words I think...

Ward vs Golovkin should not even be mentioned until we see what happens with the GGG vs Cotto/Canelo situation.
You can always tell who the real threats are. Look at the smear campaign on Ward. I can't wait until Canelo or Cotto give up the WBC belt and remain at 154. This site might lose it's freakin mind.

I doubt Roc-Nation wants to spend any more $ on tuneups for him anyway.

They already gave him a signing bonus and spent probably over 2.5 mill to televise his last fight.

Ward actually had the nerve to demand hbo give him 2 mill for a tuneup. If I was his manager I wouldn't even know where to begin with him as far his next career moves.

It is called negotiations. Anyway why do so many ppl here care what a fighter makes instead of caring that the fight gets done

First of all, there was never a deal offered to Ward from GGG's camp. It was only a comment made during a web interview. I really wish people would check their facts before starting crappy threads on things that never happened.

Boxing fans must be the most unknowledgeable of all sports fans when it comes to the sport they follow. I know baseball fans who can list off stats from back when Babe Ruth was playing the game but boxing fans don't know what actually happened in their sport yesterday it seems. Are they all punch drunk or just ****** to begin with?

Why? I'm a GGG fan and I could not care less if Cotto was to vacate the title. In fact I would prefer it to seeing him run like a chicken and read his fans making posts trying to justify it. He should vacate right now so that WBC could add the title to the Golovkin - Lemieux fight. It would save a lot of time.

Maybe Ward would have to fight guys his own size at 175.

You'd come up with some sad excuse for why he needs to spend another 5 years sidelined begging a guy who is the same size as Canelo to fight him.

GGG would be unaffected, he doesn't fight at 168 much less 172. He would just become the Klitschko of middleweight and keep putting these guys down as they come up (Lemiuex, Quillin, Jacobs, etc.)

Ward need to forget about GGG, and make a fight for Cotto/Canelo undercard

                    Thsoe are called excuses.
They said that over FOUR YEARS AGO, BEFORE GGG HAD SO MUCH AS SIGNED ONE FIGHT IN THE US. IT NO LONGER APPLIES.

And you are very much aware of that fact and are just being a troll as usual. But what can you expect from a Cotto **** licker.

Wait for who? GGG? He's not even making any effort when GGG is available. He's half hearted. I don't think he's interested in any high profile fight at this point. He'll cruise his way to a comfortable retirement fighting nobodies. I don't think he even cares.
