Floyd's the greatest. Of course the haters (who are definitely in the building here) will spend all their free time whining and trying to detract from his accomplishments, but the proof is in the pudding.

Almost 18 years as a world champion, never lost, only had 2 really close fights.
Nobody had the skill he did in the history of boxing. People bring up names like Willie Pep, ugh. Pep didn't have near the defensive talent Floyd does.

The only possible reason for the IV is to mask PEDs. No other reason was possible. NONE!

We all know about his skills and ring accomplishments. Let's look at his impact on the sport overall:

-Economic driver for the city of Las Vegas
-3 biggest PPV events in boxing history
-3 biggest boxing gates in boxing history
-Paved the way for stricter drug testing in a sport that desperately needed it
- Proved that skills, defensive responsibility and taking your craft seriously can lead to a successful career
-Retired on top, financially stable with his faculties in place in a sport where fighters usually end up broke and brain damaged


Props to Mayweather for his contributions to my favorite sport. Hopefully the next generation can learn from his actions and continue to carry the sport in the right direction.
