USADA INVESTIGATED and later sanctioned an athlete who USADA AGREED after the investigation that the IV was not for PEDs related purpose. YET Lochte was still sanctioned for 14 months!

U.S. Swimming Athlete Ryan Lochte Accepts Sanction for Anti-Doping Rule Violation


USADA announced today that Ryan Lochte, of Gainesville, Fla., an athlete in the sport of swimming, has accepted a 14-month sanction for his use of a prohibited method.


Intravenous infusions or injections in excess of 100 mL within a 12-hour period received in any other setting require an approved TUE. If a prohibited substance is administered intravenously or via injection, a TUE is necessary for this substance regardless of volume. Administration of IV infusions over the WADA volume limit, including dietary supplement and vitamin ****tails, provided to athletes for recuperation, recovery or lifestyle reasons is prohibited at all times without prior TUE approvall.

In situations of medical emergency, a retroactive TUE application pursuant to the International Standard for The****utic Use Exemptions is acceptable. USADA has additional information regarding IV infusions available here.

2) DCO is NOT a doctor!

3) Floyd and his Dr Ariza get to decide! If they screwed up, it does not matter if the DCO was there!


4) Fortunately, we have lots of stats about Floyd just before the IV!

- Weight was rock stable! Been that way for a decade according to Floyd!

- We actually saw Floyd drink enough fluids to recuperate from his possible MILD dehydration.

- USADA/WADA states that all that is needed is a couple of cups of fluids per pound lost and you are all good! Floyd did that!

- Vitals all normal!

I don't think USADA will be used in the 2nd fight. He got a way with those IV masking fluids. This will be VADA or no fight. Pac will be dumb if he accepts a fight with Floyd with USADA on board again.
