Whether due to a genuine misunderstanding of the facts or an intentional desire to mislead, numerous unfounded and false accusations have been leveled against USADA in recent on-line articles. Since our inception, USADA’s sole mission has been to protect clean sport. As such, it is unfortunate and extremely disappointing to have to address articles riddled with significant inaccuracies and misrepresentations based on unsubstantiated rumors as well as anonymous or self-interested sources that have recklessly called our integrity into question. It is simply absurd to suggest that we would ever compromise our integrity for any sport or athlete. [Click Here To Read More]

Yeah, this isn't going to go anywhere. It will come down to beaurocratic chest pounding and some agreement between NSAC and USADA.

How can you even trust an agency, tasked to provide evidence of guilt/innocence, that throws away and destroys samples? How much space do you need to preserve samples? Even cold cases can produce traces of evidence taken decades ago. USADA destroys them.

Riddled with inaccuries but then says all of the details related to Mayweather were accurate lol. The only thing they added on that was that Mayweather disclosed the infusion in advance to USADA, which isn't consistent with what the NSAC has claimed they were told by USADA. Even so that doesn't explain why the retroactive TUE was granted so much later than they supposedly knew about it. Further, they are intentionally trying to mislead by pointing out that the IV saline is not prohibited by NSAC. Who cares? They were doing USADA testing, which Mayweather insisted on, where it is banned presumably for a reason.
EDIT: Also, I'm relatively certain that NSAC would want to have notice, in advance, that someone was getting an IV saline drip that could alter the results of a drug test. They might not outright ban it, but I'm sure they are not ok with how it was handled.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 09-10-2015, 12:42 PM.
