If Floyd had been defending those 154 lb belts regularly I'd say why not but he hasn't fought there in years now.
Its another mythical matchup that won't happen.
GGG should unify against Lemueix,Lee,cotto/Canelo, then go fight Ward at 168. In the Meantime, Ward rebuilds his name by beating Degale,Groves/Jack, etc...
