    Post your P4P Lists

    I'm curious as to who you guys think are the top p4p fighters on the planet, I'm extending my list to 20 fighters so that some lesser known names get a shout out. I don't really agree with any of the lists I see posted by ****zines and sites so I'm curious to see how you all will rank the world's leading pugilists.

    Also, keep in mind what the criteria is, something that has been lost over the years. It's not simply about being the best or one of the best in your division and championships won and resumes but more importantly, who, if weight was not an issue, would beat all the other fighters out there, thus the P4P label.

    Here's mine:

    3. Sergey Kovalev
    4. Gennady Golovkin
    5. Manny Pacquiao
    6. Timothy Bradley
    7. Roman Gonzalez
    8. Guillermo Rigondeaux

    11. Nicholas Walters

        pretty much all the necessary names for a modern p4p list, think TC should be there instead of Cotto and the order may need a bit of a change but good list.

        Again, most of the necessary names but I just can't put Wad in any p4p list until he fights more often and fights someone with a pulse.

            who does he beat and how convincingly does he beat them to be top 5?

            Remember, the top 5 is graced by some exceptional names.

              Based on talent/skill alone, I would already have him in my top 5. With a win over Rigo, Gamboa or Walters, he's certified top 5 imo.

                he could potentially beat rigondeaux and walters/gamboa within the next 12 months. there are a few complications to work out in negotiating both of these fights (namely weight) but it's possible. if he passed those tests he'd surely warrant a top 5 place, probably top 3

                  If you look at Lomachenko's division and the one below it there's a HOF career's worth of opponents to beat but none of the really seem likely to happen in the next year (some not ever).

                  How do some of you rank GGG over Kovalev?

                    Yeah, if he gets at least 2 of those wins...forget Gamboa, he needs 3 or 4 come back fights to be considered top level again. So a win over Rigo/Walters and Frampton/Quigg/LSC then yeah, I'd have him top 10 and I can see why some would have him top 5, especially if he wins well.

                    Based on skill/talent, I wouldn't have him top 10 in all honesty, he got out muscled by Salido and had to beat a guy like Russell for the title. He has a lot of work to do on his pro style.

                    For some reason, I'm sceptical he even fights a top name in the next 12 months.
