This fight will do awful numbers and won't ever be remembered. I didn't even remember it was coming up until a few days ago when someone mentioned it here.

Floyd Sr. is a crack up. Every fighter Floyd had fought up to this point Sr. calls them bums. Lol. Now he is fighting a legit bum in Berto and now he is saying he is no bum but a two time champ. Lol. Someone must have gotten in his ear and told him not to say what he really means. Tons of tickets are still available and PPV is going to flop so the ones in charge got into Sr. ear and told him to not bash Berto and help build him up. Lol. BTW Floyd Sr. nobody is buying this fight (PPV or tickets to the fight). Go ask the **** ellerbe how ticket sales are going. Comps. will be given out by the thousand at the MGM come fight night. Lol

Yeah, I'll just stream this fight. Not even going to a bar or anything, because I don't think a cover charge is worth this fight.

I'm going to buy Golovkin vs Lemieux/Roman G vs Viloria, and also Cotto vs Canelo. That's two PPV fights in short span of each other that are guaranteed to be much more entertaining.



but still, I would think it would be hilarious if Floyd lost this fight. You know, the one fight that nobody expects much out of, that everyone expects Floyd to dominate easily.

I have a friend that works at mgm and he says half the arena is still available for tickets .

Sr is delusional. This fight is the perfect storm for a major flop. You have a huge amount of fans feeling ripped off by Mayweather's last fight. Hell you still have fans suing saying the entire fight was staged and a fraud because Manny was injured. Mayweathers fights prior on Showtime with the exception of Canelo all saw a trend of the PPV numbers going down. Without the lure of will he face "Manny" now gone and him choosing so a terrible opponent who might be a 100 to 1 underdog come fight night there is no incentive for most fans to watch or care about this fight.

If the Showtime PPV rumors of Maidana and Guerrero are accurate avg around 800K buys. I see this doing around half that number. 500K is the max I could see. There is literally no buzz for this fight and you have 2 PPV events coming shortly after this fight. Hard core boxing fans will say I rather save my money for GGG vs Lemieux and Canelo vs Cotto. Casual fans are going to boycott buying it because they feel cheated by the Pacquiao fight.
