Big Javi has bossed this thread, green k.

Will check some of those out later.

Theres a few guys from UK who you can check out Javi. I dont know many guys from outside the big two promoters over here but theres a couple on their rosters who dont get much chatter on the global scene and are pretty good.

Once i get back to my laptop ill get some videos

Sam Eggington could be one. He's lost a couple of fights but he's fighting Frankie Gavin next and has the British title. Apparently he only ever wanted to be a journeyman and he may well only be that but he has a big chance vs Gavin.

Lee Haskins is maybe a little old to be a prospect but is in line for a title shot too. He's not signed to Hearn or Warren which in the UK will always make it a little more challenging.

Jack Catterall is a big punching 140lber who has recently signed to Warren but has earned himself that promotional opportunity. Didn't have a particularly impressive amateur career and turned pro at 19.

Love me some Eggington. Although hes getting a push now from Matchroom hes a great example of a guy who came through with little hype and earned respect the hard way. No idea how far he goes but i reckon he has talent. I think he has a great chance of beating Gavin, and if he does he probably has the best 22 year old resume in the UK.

Jack Catteral is another tough guy who is earning his respect. At 21 yo he faced (admittedly terrible) Olympic prospect Tom Stalker and dominated him knocking him down twice before stopping him in the mid rounds. He gets great sparring out in America at the Mayweather gym and others (Maybe Porter?) which can only serve him well. He isnt perfect but you can see the strength and bad intentions on his shots.

Edit: haha both went for Catteral.

On a side not i hope that as these guys start getting more attention they dont get stuck in the normal Uk prospect conveyor of fighting the easiest fights to get them up the rankings.

Ryan Burnett looks a solid young fighter out of Belfast. Trained by Adam Booth (who I'm not sure i rate that highly as a trainer) and fights the well past it JAson Booth soon according to boxrec.

Does Warren even count as a big promoter these days? I'm asking seriously. Because I'm starting to think he doesn't and that means he has some good prospects. Having said that, I'd like to give a shout out to two guys who have been recently given some of the spotlight but were 2 of my faves for years before the bigger screenings: Derry Mathews and Tommy Coyle.

I haven't followed Mathews for a while now but I believe he is getting a world title shot and Coyle just got fed to Campbell but he deserved so much more, not to mention the numerous exciting fights he has been in. I wouldn't mind a Mathews/Coyle II. Both guys came up the hard way, solid lads, good fighters, hearts on their sleeves.

Also, shout outs to Ellett (who I've seen fight live), the other Saunders who is just about to hit the Skysports limelight and Callum Johnson (never seen but heard good things about this guy, only 20 or 21 and already a regional titlist).
