Real fights bring in real good ratings. Crap fights dont. Its not rocket science.

PBC's next 4 fights for this month all are crap..

I was hoping for bigger numbers tbh. I think the fact they are elite "lil guys" probably didn't help the ratings cause.

How is this huge ratings for "free tv"? HBO you have to pay for and gets the same amount of viewers.

Would have done better on network TV but teddy is great so it's fine I guess.

I agree, but it's a good thing that the ratings are higher than average, maybe they will understand that good matchups create better fights and in turn better ratings. That being said the closest pbc cards look like garbage but maybe they get it together by the end of the year. Ceja vs Ruiz was a great fight.

ESPN isnt free TV. FNF on ESPN has been averaging between 350,000-400,000 viewers the past few years. Arreola-Stiverne II brought in 900k views, and that was their largest boxing viewership since 2006.

So this fight was the biggest fight on ESPN in at least a decade. When you consider that this fight also probably did a very nice gate, things are looking very good all around.
