That's even harder than what Floyd is doing even harder considering that was at Middleweight for Duran.
    Absolutely!

It's harder..but not smarter as he got destroyed in both. You're actually helping me prove my point.

Listen I'm not debating who's greater.

All I'm saying is after coming out of these megafights it's probably not wise to go directly into another dangerous fight 4-5 months later without the proper time to rejuvenate and refocus mentally and physically.

      Duran was at Middleweight too.

Edit: He even went from Barkley to Sugar Ray back to back
Plus Duran's best division was arguably LW. At 37 he took on a beast MW in Barkley. Not to mention Hagler earlier. Win or lose that's how a fighter becomes an ATG.... despite No Mas.

This Mayweather-Berto thing is not a PPV event. Fcuk No. It's a budget parasite that most likely prevented ShowTime from making other compelling match ups this year.

BTW Duran did not fight Barkley before Sugar Ray. He fought Wellington Wheatley. Wellington fcking Wheatley lol

And he fought Hagler 7 months after fighting Hearns. 7 fckin months! I wouldn't consider that back to back.

        Do your homework first homie!

He fought a guy 5 months later you never heard of named Bruce Finch (28-3-1).

Does anybody know who Muhammed Ali fought after defeating George Foreman in the rumble in the jungle the biggest fight in boxing history at the time?

5 months later he fought Chuck Wepner (30-9)!

Floyd will be 4 months removed from facing Pacquiao in the biggest most important fight in his career the biggest in fight history (just as Ali and Sugar Ray were) when he faces Andre Berto (30-3) in September.

Do you get it now you dumb fck?!
Yes and I'm almost 100% sure those fights weren on free tv. Mayweather charging about $70 to fight some gate keeper is insulting. If it were free on NBC then I wouldn't mind.

All I'm saying is there's no reason any fighter can't take on two great fighters back to back.

Do your homework, he fought Barkley and Leonard again at Middleweight.

This cracked me up. Reminds me of when someone made a thread about how exciting a fighter Khan is with a video of him eating punches from Garcia. I'm pretty sure it wasn't even a troll post either.

Can't see why some posters don't see this. It's really this simple.

                    I agree but there's a big difference between 7 and 4 months!

Listen we're getting off track a little bit here.

Nobody is debating who's greater or smarter. You're stuck on comparing Duran and Mayweather for some reason.

All I'm saying is just like Floyd, Ali and Sugar Ray fought subpar competition 4-5 after being involved in their RECORD BREAKING MEGAFIGHTS respectively.

Oh ok I see what you're saying.

But do you honestly put Barkley in the category with Duran Leonard Hearns Hagler Ali Foreman and Frazier?!
