He can still go at the highest level. If he wants to retire, fine, but he shouldn't feel compelled to if he still has his health, skill, and desire.

Damn right!......he's got to be running out of bums to cherrypick. Real top fighters win titles, defend against top mandatories, unify, defend against top mandatories......not win titles cherrypick some soft defences, retire or change weight class when some solid mandatories come through and only take on tough opponents after they've shown decline.

He should retire....nobody else adds to his legacy unless he jumps up to middleweight to fight the winner of the Lemieux-GGG, Cotto-Alvarez saga and win another lineal title....other than that I'd call it a career as well

Thats what i wanted to see; Floyd going for that 5th lineal, Cotto or Garcia had he stayed at 140. And i agree theres no one that would add to his legacy. Brook, Thurman, Porter, regardless of their current standing, lack top level wins that would make them a good win for Floyd. Alotta fans dont understand this is how wins are guaged. The strength of a fighters win is based on who his opponent has faced and beat.

I gotta go with Sr, its time for Floyd to hang em up, hes getn up there in age and his reflexes slipped some, just in the span of the last 14months its noticeable. Theres nothing lefr for him to accomplish bcuz hes done it all. He should give all his haters the finger and tell em "not in this lifetime!"
