Damn. You're showing your ignorance by saying Toney was getting dominated for 12 rounds.

First Toney won in the 11th round.

Secondly : Nunn may have won the first 7-8 rounds but Toney was not getting dominated as much as people some times exaggerate and from round 8 on was able to close the gap which lead to the stoppage

These guys started watching boxing 2 years ago and probably are going solely off of descriptions of fights on wikipedia. Floyd and his winning record is a central component of their confidence and they will defend him whatever comes. TBE! TBE! TBE!

Nunn was able yo win so many rounds early due to Toney's lackadaisical, 1 gear style. It was a terrible style match up for Toney, as it was for everyone really. In the world of Chris Eubank when asked about fighting Nunn: "Fight a 6ft 2 rangy southpaw with skills? No thanks!"-or words to that effect.

Nunn had a great jab, great boxing skills, and good power.. People seem to forget that nunn was coasting to a decision win over toney when he got lazy and overconfident and got wrecked late by toney..

But going into the fight, nunn was a legit monster... Corrales is probably the closest as he was considered a monster when floyd fought him, though nunn had higher quality wins than corrales

i haven't seen that fight in a while, but i seemed to remember toney hitting nunn with a lot of hard counterpunches that took their toll later in the fight.

I've been a member of these boards since 2007 so don't judge on the dates of accounts in future. .

KO'ing an opponent late in a fight you were clearly losing is more impressive than dominating the 2nd best fighter in the world?

I meant to say 9 rounds not twelve. I know Toney won by KO in the 11th and that the fight was very back and forth in the second half but Toney was well behind on the scorecards. Pacquiao is way more accomplished and was ranked more highly than Nunn was. It's ignorant to call Toney's win over Nunn better than any win n Floyd's resume.

Similar to the recent Huck-Glow fight. Nunn left himself wide open, bouncing up and down getting ready to dodge, but he either didnt see the left hook coming or else his legs' speed were taken from him due to punishment earlier. The deficit in rounds was large but the rounds were close enough in a lot of cases.

I was going of your apparent level of boxing knowledge contained in your posts rather than your join date.

The point is that Nunn ewas on fire, schooling every top class opponent he fought. He was in the midst of his prime.

Don't get me wrong if Floyd beat Pac in 2009/2010 it would be a far better win than Toney over Nunn's but he beat him in 2015. Go back to the minor leagues little boy. lol

Pacquiao was still good enough to be rated the 2nd best fighter, doesn't matter if he was prime or not.

Well your heads up your hole if you think that. Obviously a fight is of higher quality if both fighters are prime and a win is of higher quality if the guy you beat was prime. Whose win was better Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson or Kevin Mitchell over Mike Tyson?

Antonio Tarver over Roy Jones or Danny Green over Roy Jones?

You are a 24 carat idiot lol Get back in the dole queue moron.

How are those examples even close to being the same as Pacquiao? Roy Jones was rated #1 when Tarver beat him, wasn't rated in the top 100 when Green beat and similar with Tyson. Pacquiao was rated #2 when Mayweather beat him.
