Where else is Rigo gonna go to get a named fighter and that payday. NO WHERE that's where. He can continue to fight on undercards or sit on the sideline and complain

i DO feel catch-weights are acceptable and it's not sad. C.Weights are great for fighters from different divisions - it gets a fight made that otherwise just wouldn't be made. Its easier to move up than down so 125 seems like a fair weight for this fight plus 136 re-hydration. Otherwise we get an uneven
match-up and no credit is due the winner.

I support Rigo, but agree with Loma.....

I am a genuine boxing fan, so do not have convenient adjustable standards.

Catchweights suck ass !

I have mixed views about rehydration clauses.

Even if you were able to convince me that rehydration clauses were acceptable..... you would never be able to convince me that a rehydration clause is anything more than a sellotape-fix.

The system should accomodate ALL, without the need for change.

I think I would prefer same-day weighin rather than rehydration clauses.

We can all see how catchweights are being abused, lets not add another variable to the equation..... the standards within boxing are low enough as it is.

I disagree. Nothing is permanent. Change is integral to life and no system is perfect so when imperfections are found then we should be adaptable and try to improve. This is just so fundamental to life as a whole never mind just boxing.

Boxing is a sport and the whole idea of weight classes is to create a degree of equality. Same with catch-weights. Most boxers are scared to lose so also scared to move up a division. If there are no catch-weights there are less fights. I'd rather see more fights.

ABSOLUTELY!!!!! GOOD POST!!!!! It makes me sick these days that boxing fans are letting catch weights become the norm and are becoming more and more acceptable.

I HATE catch weights!!!!! If you're not willing to fight at the weight class weight you should not be allowed to fight for that title or be awarded it.

This catch weight **** needs to stop. I understand in some instances it has always been in boxing, but it is becoming the rule instead of the exception and it need to stop!!!!!!

Its because you need to be gratified by knowing who is the best boxer at a certain weight-class and catch-weights screw up that assessment if you work off other people's lists.

I'd rather see great match-ups get made and I can form my own opinion of who is the best at a certain weight, I don't need to be 'told' that.

He might win, doubt he'll shut him out, but that's hilarious reasoning. If Cordoba could KD Rigo and take him to split decision, I guess Loma shuts him out or knocks him out.

TR should organize doubleheader autumn 2015 Loma vs Rigo, Walters vs Vetyeka for vacant WBA(as 2 former champs). If Loma and Walters wins - push them to unify in spring in may 2016. Winner of that will be crowned as king of featherweight.
